WHAT IS AESTHETICS?
The term aesthetics (or esthetics) come from the Greek aisthetick, meaning “sensation” from “sense.” Aesthetics is a branch of philosophy dealing with the nature of beauty, art and taste with the creation and appreciation for beauty.
Medical Aesthetics is the art and science of fighting the visible effects of aging and correcting physical conditions that adversely impact an individual’s self-confidence and self-esteem.
Dr. Denise Bruner has assembled a first-class team of professionals to guide you through a pleasant journey. Offering the most advanced (non-surgical) aesthetic treatments, and a level of dedication second to none, Dr. Bruner has built her reputation by offering a gentle touch and a superior treatment experience.
Once you meet Dr. Bruner and her staff you will know these are the people you want to take your journey with. They care deeply about your happiness, and they truly love what they do!
We can think of our body’s skin like the exterior paint on a house. As your home ages the paint becomes discolored, chips and/or peels. Often there are chronic underlying conditions causing the damage, but nine times out of ten the problem is due to the aging process itself. Regardless of the root issue your own skin is the first thing people see — and the overall radiance, or lack thereof, makes an impression. Some of the first signs of skin aging are the onset of wrinkles, fine lines and dryness. Aesthetics, or beauty enhancement treatments, are the remodelers of the skincare world. They allow you, like a freshly repainted home, to look your best and make a positive impact.

HOW IS IT DONE?
We use a variety of procedures and products to enhance your natural beauty and correct any disfigurement you may be concerned about. Below is a list of the specific treatments we provide at our medical offices. To learn more about any of our cutting-edge aesthetic procedures or products we encourage you to continue exploring our website:
I AM READY!
First our medical aesthetician and/or nurse will hold a consultation meeting with you. At this meeting you will learn about the various options available to you. The medical aesthetician will discuss every step with you and describe what you may experience and approximately how long the treatment or procedure will take. You will complete medical and skin typing forms, express your concerns and ask questions. You will learn the cost of the treatment(s) or procedure(s). Once you have decided to establish an appointment for your treatment or procedure, you will then complete a consent form. Also, with your consent we will take a private “before” photo for your chart.
Secondly, on the day of your treatment or procedure Dr. Bruner will examine your face and/or your body and make a medical assessment. Once again, the medical aesthetician or nurse will explain what is going to take place, what you may experience and how long the treatment or procedure should take. And if necessary a home skincare program will be discussed and any questions you may have will be answered. Everyone, including Dr. Bruner will ensure that you are comfortable with your decision.
Lastly, follow-up visits are vital. We want to track your skin’s or body’s response, make any necessary improvements and just see how excited you are about your enhancement. Private “after” photos may be taken so you can witness the results for yourself.
